When removing and installing wheel bearings, there is usually the problem of a very small bearing surface or an uneven bearing surface at the rear of the wheel bearing housing.
A support is therefore not possible by the standard housings and centring rings of the KL-0039-...series.
The special support ring kit enables a safe support of wheel bearing housings with a very small contact surface or uneven contact surfaces, for example due to the ABS sensor.
Unevenness on the contact surface on the wheel bearing housing can be easily bridged by means of the special recesses on the support rings.
