The E-Drive Stator Lift is a semi-automatic device designed for the professional disassembly of electric drive engines, for example for the repair of the rotor bearings, sealing work on the coolant circuit and other tasks.
This device enables specialist automotive workshops to carry out cost-effective repairs on electric drive engines instead of simply replacing them entirely.
This enables workshops to expand their range of services with a view to the future, allows vehicle owners to significantly reduce costs, and helps to conserve valuable resources through the reuse of reconditioned engines.
When the rotor and stator are separated, extremely high radial magnetic forces of up to 15 kN are generated, which corresponds roughly to a weight of around 1.5 tonnes.
At the same time, the gap between the components is usually only a few tenths of a millimetre.
Under these conditions, contactless separation without a special device is practically impossible.
Thanks to its highly rigid design, the E-Drive Stator Lift enables the stator to be separated from the rotor precisely, in a controlled manner and without damage, even when subjected to the highest radial magnetic forces.
The electrically powered device prevents contact between the rotor and the stator, thereby protecting the sensitive components.
This helps to prevent damage that can lead to a loss of performance, noise and vibrations.
The universal mounting grid allows it to be used on electric engines of a wide variety of sizes and power ratings.
