Suitable for oil filter with a diameter of 76 mm and 12 grooves on VW-Audi, Mercedes, Seat, Škoda, Citroën, Peugeot, Renault, Ford, Nissan, Dacia und Suzuki etc. (e.g. filter: Purflux LS 918, MANN W716/1).
Especially suitable for Renault, Nissan, Dacia and Suzuki with K9K-engines as well on Mercedes 6-cylindre petrol engine M102 and M103.
Thanks to the particularly compact design of the oil filter socket, oil filters on Mercedes M102 and M103 engines can be replaced without the need for removing the induction pipe.
The problem with K9K engines is that the alternator is located very close to the oil filter. Thus, there is a risk of causing a short circuit with the alternator charging cable when using a conventional oil filter tool.
The KL-0122-219 B oil filter socket was specifically developed for this type of engines.
The socket features a non-conductive surface coating designed to prevent accidental short circuits and, as a result, to allow the oil filter to be loosened and tightened safely.
